Bishop Stopford's School raises £1,000!

St. George's House at Bishop Stopford's School in Enfield, raised an incredible £1,000 for Taylan's Project during their fundraising week.

The children, aged between 11 and 16 of St. George's House nominated Taylan's Project as their chosen charity and wanted to raise vital funds for research after they realised the devastation and effect brain tumours have on people.

During their week, they sold cakes, ate lots of hotdogs, took part in a sponsored silence and held a non uniform day.

We were presented the cheque during a service and emotional assembly which took place at the school in April.  The heads of house explained why it was so important for them to help raise the money which was then followed by a speech from their teachers before a video was shown.  Two students then went on to play and sing 'wishing on a star' which was beautiful to say the least.

We would like to thank this wonderful school for all their efforts and for invited us.
