Charity of the Year!
2012 was a very successful fundraising year for us thanks to all our supporters and also to Enotria World Wine who chose us as their nominated Charity of the Year.
Throughout various fundraising activities kindly organised every month by staff members, Taylan’s Project was presented with a cheque for over £17,000 at the Crystal Ball, which included Enotria’s popular policy of matching employees' charitable fundraising efforts.
Cake sales, wine tastings, bike rides, half marathons, Olympic themed events, tea parties and so much more took place throughout the year which helped us to raise awareness and much needed funds. A special thanks to everyone who worked extremely hard to help us be closer to finding a cure for this devastating and under-funded illness.
We are proud to announce that following charity nominations and a recent vote, Enotria have decided to continue supporting Taylan’s Project / Brain Tumour Research in 2013 and we are extremely grateful to them. Starting with the National ‘Wear a Hat’ Campaign and their ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ on Thursday 28th March, we cannot wait to see what else they are planning!
We are also thrilled to announce that Taylan’s Project has been nominated by Buckingham-Schenk, Groves & Banks and Brightborough Capital as their 2013 Charity and we wish them all the very best of luck in all their fundraising efforts too.
