With everyone’s help, we continue to get closer to a cure and we are so proud of you all for not only helping us to achieve our goal but also for helping us to continue with Taylan’s legacy.

Together we can achieve anything……xxx

Below are some lovely words from Ian Maskell during his challenge as well as some photo’s of his journey. Thank you once again Ian and may you have a safe trip back xxxx

2nd day in on my charity bike ride for Brain Tumour Research - Taylan's Project💚 from London to Amsterdam.

Ist day from Crystal Palace 6.45am leave😴...

We cycled down to Dover & then took the ferry to Calais.

We then rode to our Hotel in the dark in convoy.

A long hard day in the saddle but worth every mile.

Day 2 after a good breakfast we rode a flat route north through Dunkirk up to Bruges.

Very hot & a slight head wind but also a great day in the saddle.

Day 3 & 4 still to do but looking forward to the pain.🚴.

I'll post more about the route from Bruges, Breda & Amsterdam in the next few days.

Please if you can spare even a small donation it will be greatly received.

Thank you again

Day 3 on my charity bike ride from Crystal Palace to Amsterdam for Brain Tumour Research - Taylans Project 🚴💚

We rode from Bruges to Breda with a short ferry ride at Bresken's.

We just managed 100 miles today & it was so hot☀️33 most of the afternoon.

Pan flat & very fast even had a race wit a Dutch cyclist near the end...

Managed to break the 30mph on the flat & yes I did drop him 😂😂...

Tomorrow is the final push into museum square in Amsterdam.

A short stage of less than 90 miles.

It's not too late to sponsor me if you haven't already...

It's for such a great cause.

Please take time to read the post & there is a just giving page.

🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🚴💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

Finished my charity bike ride from London to Amsterdam in aid of Brain Tumour Research - Taylan's Project.

Thank you for everyone who sponsored me:-)

You’re all stars...

I've managed to raise over £1,000...

It was so much fun & the weather was hot hot hot...

Holland is such a beautiful & clean country & the cycle lanes are awesome.

Thanks to Holly Rust March for inviting me on this trip & I met some great people.

All in all a brilliant experience.

Also I would like to thank Andy & Figen Rawlinson for setting up my Just giving page in aid of Taylan there son who sadly passed away with a brain tumour. (Taylan's Project).

So if any one still would like to sponsor me please check out the page attached.

Thanks again

CHALLENGE

Ian Maskell is cycling from London to Amsterdam (approximately 370 miles) from 31st May to 3rd June 2017.Taylan and Will.jpg

His page has been set up by his son Will who was very good friends with Taylan.

Please visit his fundraising page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Ian-MASKELL2  to read all about why his dad Ian is taking on the challenge and please donate what you can.  Ian has paid for the cost of the trip himself, so every penny raised goes towards vital research.

Good luck Ian and thank you!  Thank you also to Will for being such a great friend x
